What are some of our activities?

Thank you for your interest in the JMJ Catholic Homeschooling Support Group. Our group is based in the north Tampa area, around Carrollwood / Northdale / Citrus Park.

We meet at a park for playtime and some fun classes and activities on most Friday mornings and afternoons, generally from August through May. We also have special interest clubs that meet either later on Friday afternoons (after 2 p.m.), or on a different day of the week. This year we have a variety of enrichment activities that families can participate in at their own level of comfort. For example, we have art, science, sports, etc.

At this time we are busy getting ready for next year and working on this website. Once we have more details, we will have them available through this website.

We also have other activities like Mom’s meetings (one night a month), family outings (once a month), mom’s prayer group, Seasonal Activities (Lent for instance), and First Friday devotional activity. We have an online (e-mail) discussion group where we offer support and information to our members. We also have a meal chain ministry to help out during difficult times, and other opportunities to support each other on our home-schooling journey.
